Quit makes nothing, try makes something

Quit is a very big word for us. That word is very powerful that it could even pull off a tragic end of happiness. Take this for example; Danny and his friends were a band. They had been together playing as a band for almost 3 years. They were very friendly to each other treating each other like family members. But as clock ticked fast, Danny came to realise that he was not up to his bandmates' expectation. He was not good enough he felt. He felt everything just turned up wrongly as he went on for the band.

One day, Danny decided to quit the band. As he told his bandmates bout his side of story why he decided to quit, one of them scolded him, scolded him for not being confident in himself, not putting enought effort to drive himself more progressive and scolded him for easily quitting. Danny felt lost and did not know what to do. They then had an arguement about it.

After the arguement, he felt depressed. He called up Ronnie, his best friend to have a drink and a slow talk with him. As they both drinking at the bar, he told Ronnie what happened. Ronnie then told him "Danny, I do not want to lecture you about your actions. But I do have something to tell you. Your bandmates may have high expectations on you and that is a bloody good thing. If they have high expectations on you, it means they knew from beginning that you will be able to pull it off being a member in the band. If they knew you couldn't pull it off, they wouldn't have even invited you in the first place last three years ago. Think about Danny, if you quit, you will end up making nothing out of something. But if you put more effort, recognize your mistakes, you will definitely make something out of nothing!".

Yes! Ronnie is completely correct about what he said to Danny. After their long conversation, he went home and slow thinked about what Ronnie told him and also what his bandmates said when he announced the resignation. Finally, Mr and Mrs Wise knocked and planted Wise Juniour into his brains. The next day, he called up his bandmates and apologized. He said that he would give it a shot and try to be someone that fits their expectation.

See, in life, like what Ronnie said, if you quit, you'll never know how something taste like, feel like and look like. But as you try, you'll discover something new, tastier, softer and prettier. Life is all about experimenting, learning from mistakes and self-development. Do not quit on something you desire and have interest on, put more efforts to gain on whatever you want it to be. However, there are certain things you should never try. Don't try drugs, cigarettes and pre-marital sex.
